Veterinary Osteoarthritis Alliance Podcast Episode 24b - MOVING THE NEEDLE ON VETERINARY OSTEOARTHRITIS

This is the second episode for those who want to know even more about veterinary acupuncture?  Here once again is Dr Katie Smithers of Faith Referrals, South Wales.

RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Anaesthesia. 

Katie runs a peripatetic veterinary pain management service with clinics across South Wales and also works as a veterinary anaesthetist. She is passionate about maximising the outcomes for veterinary chronic pain patients through adopting an individualised approach to each patient.

Katie discusses what it takes to become a veterinary acupuncturist.  This is inclused how and where to get training, and information about the their professional body,  the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists.   She also described who can perform acupuncture, and on what species.  

This second instalment complements the first episode #23a. 

This, once again, is a further excellent resource for all people involved in the veterinary osteoarthritis space.
